Last week we were honored to have Mother General Maria and Mother Joseph visit our home in Gallup. When Mother General Maria and Mother Joseph Christine arrived, our Residents were gathered with signs they had prepared days in advance. Some were nervous, some excited, but all of them wanted to offer a welcome that felt personal.

The signs were in different languages spoken in our Home: English, Spanish, Navajo, and French for our sisters. Our Resident Carol prepared a speech, and one of our staff members gave flowers. Another Resident, Sami, handed them a card to welcome them into our Home.
